Film Campus Innsbruck, Austria’s first talent campus, takes place for the ninth time in 2023 and is a platform for young film talents. We offer a number of master classes by international film professionals in which the participants get the opportunity to learn and discuss with them. We are currently working on this year’s program. Innsbruck becomes a meeting point for today’s talents and tomorrow’s cinema. We invite all interested people to participate in the tenth Film Campus Innsbruck.
DIAMETRALE Film Festival | 28 February—03 March 2024
DIAMETRALE Film Festival has the focus on experimental and humoristic/absurd
movies. Under the label “useless and beautiful” the festival presents various short
film programs (competition, b-sides, sex positive), handpicked feature films and
virtual reality sessions.
IFFI – International Film Festival Innsbruck | 28 May—2 June 2024
At IFFI we show films from regions and on topics that are underrepresented in
global cinema networks. For six days, IFFI celebrates film as a global phenomenon
in all its facets. In addition to new exciting and innovative films in the competitions,
we show film-historical treasures in the retrospectives.
We are looking for aspiring young talents from Austria, Germany, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Italy, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary, Switzerland and Liechtenstein, aged between 20 and 35, who have already experience in the field of film. It is no condition to have a cinematic degree, but it may be of advantage in the application process. Film Campus is open to film makers from all sectors.
It is essential for all applicants to be fluent in English.
From all applications, a maximum of 20 participants will be selected to be invited to Innsbruck.
A jury consisting of the project team and an advisory board of film makers decides
on the selection of participants.
Participation at the Film Campus Innsbruck is free (no fee).
The DEADLINE for applications is 24 November 2023 (23:59). The jury meeting takes place in the week to follow. The selected participants will be notified via e-mail in the first week of December.

Film Campus can cover following costs:
Important: You have to pay the costs for traveling by yourself. You also have to
organize the journey to Innsbruck (recommended by train).
